The European Union Aviation Safety Agency and EUROCONTROL joined forces this week, hosting a workshop with more than 100 experts from across the aviation sector to discuss the response to the growing operational impact of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) across European and neighbouring airspace. EASA has issued AD 2026-0134 for certain A320 family aeroplanes, which was previously published for public consultation as PAD 26-050, and which supersedes Emergency Airworthiness Directive (EAD) 2025-0268-E. The EAD was issued on November 28, 2025 to address a susceptibility introduced by a software update in one of its onboard computers.
